TIC Lift Engineer vacancy in Cumbria/Carlisle/Whitehaven (055DM)
Our client is a trusted leader in lifting and height safety solutions, dedicated to providing high-quality equipment inspection, maintenance, and installation services.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a skilled TIC (Test, Inspect & Certify) Engineer to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect, test, repair, and maintain lifting and working-at-height equipment.
2. Perform load testing on runway beams, davit sockets, swing jibs, and lift shaft eyes.
3. Install basic lifting equipment and provide certification, including detailed reports on failures.
4. Conduct site surveys and advise customers on proper equipment selection and usage.
5. Manage installation, testing, and commissioning of lifting equipment such as runway beams, powered hoists, and swing jibs.
6. Prepare proposals and quotations for customers, ensuring solutions align with their requirements.
What our client is looking for:
1. Experience in the lifting equipment industry.
2. LEEA Qualifications, ideally including advanced programs such as Runways & Crane Structures and/or Overhead Travelling Cranes.
3. (For the right candidate, the client will put you through the LEEA qualifications after joining the company)
4. Manufacturer & industry training (CSCS, IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space, Working at Height).
5. Competence in accordance with LOLER regulations.
6. A valid driving license (preferably clean).
7. Strong IT literacy for reporting and certification processes.
