Role Overview:
The role involves managing day to day visual activity and an integral part of the role is to actively develop a team of competent Town Merchandisers and in store personnel across all designated stores.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Your key responsibilities are to ensure a high level of visual standard and to make sure a consistent level of visual competence is evident across all designated stores.
2. Maintain a high level of visual standard and make sure a consistent level of visual competence is evident across all designated stores.
3. You will need to have strong communication to all visual Head Office personnel, Senior Visual Managers, Area / Regional Sales Managers and Town Merchandisers.
4. To ensure all guidelines are being followed correctly and all weaknesses are identified and supported to be rectified.
5. To maintain brand and seasonal identity in the presentation of product within each department/category through best use of bar work and fixtures.
6. Use data, reporting tools and business intelligence to provide commercially sound decision making.
7. To support training and development of the Retail teams with regards to technical and commercial VM.
Skills & Experience needed:
8. Management level experience is essential and/or have JD Visual Merchandising experience.
9. Strong communication skills.
10. Experience of working within a fast paced Retail environment is advantageous.
11. Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks to meet business needs.
12. Geographically mobile with the willingness to travel nationwide and on occasion overnight stays.
13. Full clean driving license.
