Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated administrative assistant with excellent communication, organisational, time management and attention to detail skills to join our Therapy Led Discharge team.
The post will be predominantly based with the team at Chase Heys however will have the flexibility to work at the Southport Hospital site with the acute therapy team.
You will be working in a busy and dynamic environment and closely with the therapy team. Communication and quality patient care is key in this team. The post will be varied and a great opportunity to gain new skills and enhance your knowledge and experience by working within varied settings.
A flexible approach to day to day tasks is essential, in order to meet the changing demands of the service. Our philosophy is to keep the patient at the heart of everything we do. Main duties of the job
1. To provide a comprehensive administrative service to staff, patients and carers.
2. To be confident, competent and efficient working on a computer.
3. Ensuring all the workload is effectively and efficiently processed including ad hoc office duties.
4. To complete all clinic related documentation and data input.
5. To be responsible for own workload on a day to day basis.

Qualifications Essential
* GCSE's including English and Maths, or equivalent qualification
* I.T. / Computer skills qualification or equivalent experience
* Customer Care Course

* Substantial clerical experience

* Excellent IT skills, with knowledge & experience of Microsoft Office products
