Band 6 Locum Mammographer Job Title: Mammographer Banding: 6 Location: Buckinghamshire Working Hours: 40 hours per week Rate: £26.00 P/H We are looking for a skilled Band 6 Locum Mammographer to join our team in Buckinghamshire. This position offers a pay rate of £26.00 per hour, with a 40-hour workweek. The role is set to start as soon as possible and will run for a duration of 8 months. Responsibilities : As a Band 6 Locum Mammographer, you will be responsible for performing a range of mammographic procedures to support breast cancer screening and diagnosis. You will operate mammography equipment to produce high-quality images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Your role includes maintaining accurate records, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. You will also participate in quality assurance activities to maintain the standards of imaging services. Requirements: Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification. Current registration with the HCPC. Significant experience in mammography, preferably at Band 6 level. Proficiency in operating mammography equipment and familiarity with current mammographic techniques. Strong knowledge of breast imaging protocols and radiation safety standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
