Snowdon Recruitment are working with a specialist renewables company who are looking for an Electrical Tester to join their well-established Electrical team due to the anticipated growth of the company.
This is an opportunity for an Electrical Tester to move up the ranks and off the tools into a supervisory role.
Responsibilities:
1. Reviewing, approving, and pricing both domestic and workplace surveys to assess the feasibility of charge points and cable runs.
2. Liaising with clients both prior to installation and providing technical support afterwards as required.
3. Advising clients on the appropriate workplace charge points (training provided).
4. Producing quotes for required works and assessing the cost of completed works against budgets.
5. Managing the installation of charge points.
6. Conducting risk assessments for all installations.
7. Verifying the inspection and testing results from installers.
8. Carrying out on-site audits and post-installation inspections.
9. Being available for any NICEIC audits and annual assessments.
10. Serving as the company's registered Qualifying Supervisor.

1. Salary: £45,000 (40-hour week)

Minimum Requirements:
1. 18th Edition qualification
2. Testing and inspecting qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5)
3. Ideally, City & Guilds 2922 & 2923 qualifications
4. Time-served experience
5. Experience in both domestic and commercial installations
6. At least 10 years' experience
A background in EV chargers and solar installations is preferred but not essential.
