Internal Account Manager
Location: Burnley
The Role: Based from their head office in Burnley, our client are recruiting for an Internal Account Manager to maintain and build relationships with small to medium accounts across the North of the UK. The role will be to manage existing business, and generate new, within OEM, End User, and Distribution customers who have a need for Air Filtration solutions & consumables. Our client are a major, global, manufacturer of air filters for a range of applications such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, industrial, and commercial environments. Your end user customers could be a Facilities Management firm one minute, a distributor of filters the next.
Our client have a manufacturing site in Burnley so product quality, and availability, is never in doubt. Furthermore, you will be inheriting a well-ran area with some very strong and established accounts already in situ. This is an internal sales position and as such you will be based in Burnley Monday to Friday (8-5 M-T, 8-3 F) - you'll be utilising a multi-channel approach including phone, video, email, and social media outreach. The position is varied due to the different routes to market, the different decision makers you'll be dealing with, and the different settings you'll find yourself in.

They're a business who have a long history of being in business, are at the forefront of R&D, and invest heavily into their people and facilities. The UK Sales Team is led by a Sales Director who has been in the business for many years, is super knowledgeable, and will give you the autonomy to run your account ledger the way you want to.
Requirements: To be considered for the Internal Account Manager role you must have:
· A B2B sales or customer service background
· Knowledge of sales processes & a desire to sell in to multiple routes to market
· Be a self-starter, have a pro-active approach to sales, and a desire to pick up the phone and hold professional conversations
· A willingness to travel to client sites where required (use of pool car available)
The Package for the Internal Account Manager:
£30k - 35k basic salary DOE + £3-4k annual bonus (can be doubled on overachievement), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, access to company pool car, laptop, mobile, pension scheme.
