We are looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their Team IN September 2025.
Duties as KS1 Teaching Assistant:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
* Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and adapting learning materials to meet pupils' needs
* Support pupils with communication, social, emotional, and academic development
* Help create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure pupils receive tailored support
* Encourage positive behaviour and promote well-being among students
* Assist with personal care where necessary (if applicable)
Ideal KS1 Teaching Assistant:
* Has experience working with children with SEN (preferred but not essential)
* Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs
* Can adapt to different learning styles and communicate effectively with pupils and staff
* Works well as part of a team and contributes to a positive school environment
* Has relevant qualifications (such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) or a willingness to train
