About Us
Were Blind Veterans UK, a charity that helps vision-impaired ex-service people from every generation rebuild their lives after their sight has been affected. Founded in 1915, by Sir Arthur Pearson, to help the many veterans losing their sight after the First World War, we have over a century of experience providing the best care to our veterans.
Since then, weve provided support to tens of thousands of vision-impaired veterans, helping them to regain their independence. By providing our members with the tools and skills they need to lead a fulfilling and active life, we ensure they remain valued members of society.
Were one transformational team that believes every vision-impaired veteran should be able to lead the life they choose.
We are now looking for a Volunteer Co-ordinator to join us on a full-time basis for a 12 month fixed-term contract, working 35 hours per week.
