Job Description We are looking for an SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teaching Assistant experienced in supporting students with Autism. The role involves collaborating with students, teachers, and parents to ensure every child can thrive and reach their full potential. Responsibilities Provide personalized support for students with Autism, individually and in small groups Collaborate with teachers to create and implement customized learning plans Cultivate an inclusive and supportive classroom environment Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals involved in the student's education Candidate Requirements Previous experience working with individuals with Autism, particularly in an educational setting Must have an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or be willing to pay for a new one (£52.20). Patient and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of each student Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Nurturing attitude, dedicated to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion Hours Working days are Monday-Friday, term-time only. 8:30am to 3:30pm. If successful, you will begin on a long-term supply role (at least 12-14 academic weeks) with a permanent contract potentially available for excellent performance. Pay There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £425-475 a week.
