We currently have an opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as a Hire Controller. Our Hire Controllers are at the heart of our depots, making everything happen. This is a very busy role, requiring someone who can wow our customers, go the extra mile, pick up the phone, and work effectively under pressure.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide first-class customer service.
2. Prepare hire contracts, quotations, and any other necessary correspondence.
3. Handle and record customer enquiries and source new business.
4. Follow up on quotations and enquiries.
5. Prepare accurate weekly and monthly reports.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Minimum Requirements
1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Strong attention to detail.
3. Able to multi-task and prioritise a busy workload.
4. Numerate.
5. IT literate, particularly in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
6. Experience as a Hire Controller or similar in the hire industry is essential.
7. Committed to offering first-class customer service.
8. An enthusiastic team player who engages colleagues and willingly shares knowledge and information.
9. Motivated self-starter with a thorough, methodical approach.
10. Displays integrity in all interactions.
11. Ability to work effectively under pressure.
