FinTech RS are currently supporting our client to recruit for an Office Administrator/ Expeditor for Maternity cover (9-12 months) but this role also has the potential to go Permanent. This role is a full-time office based position (40 hours per week) at their Dyce office. In this role you will play a pivotal role in supporting the administrative functions of the office. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, ensuring the office runs efficiently and supporting key departments in their day-to-day operations.
Duties
* To raise shipping documentation related to our clients export business
* Producing and handling documentation such as Commercial Invoices including countries of origin and HS Codes
* Producing packing lists with gross and net weights, certificates of origin, material certification and taking pictures of packed materials
* Giving order/shipping status to our clients and liaise with other team members to ensure on-time delivery of the orders
* Providing additional administrative support to other departments as and when required
Qualifications
* Previous experience in an Administrative role, ideally working within a logistics or shipping department (desirable)
* Proficiency in Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
* Experience using Sage Line 50 is advantageous, but not essential
* Good interpersonal skills, working with customers and clients to ensure they feel supported
* Strong coordination skills, ensuring strict deadlines and objectives are met
* A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to take initiative
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize task
