Key Account Manager
Location: Cannock
Compensation: Generous Basic plus Bonus, Commission, Car allowance and Excellent Benefits
A prestigious and well-established concern, based in Cannock is looking to recruit an experienced Key Account Manager to join its growing team.
Main Objective:
The main objective of the role is to drive revenue growth, minimize loss, and increase sales of products to existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute the sales plan for your territory with help from colleagues.
2. Present yourself in person to our clients in a highly professional manner.
3. Build rapport and trust with all decision makers within our client base.
4. Complete account reviews in line with targets.
5. Obtain new opportunities arising from account reviews and face-to-face sales visits within the existing client base.
6. Proactive outbound calling to customers.
7. Book/manage your customer appointments, schedule, and preparation including samples/presentations/reports.
8. Carry out account admin including stock-counts.
9. Produce sales reports for internal management.
10. Join your fellow Consultant on joint visits as necessary.
11. Complete tenders when existing clients go out to market/price review.
12. Apply necessary price increases and manage gross profit.
13. Proactively resolve client issues such as slow-moving stock, account queries, lost business, etc.
14. Achieve daily tasks and measures.
Essential Skills & Experience:
1. Previous experience in a similar Key Account Manager role.
2. Experience in the packaging/wrapping industry would be desirable.
3. Spend 60% of work time on the road in front of clients.
4. Ability to build lasting working relationships.
5. Able to achieve targets and KPIs.
6. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
7. High level of IT skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
8. Highly organised with an eye for detail.
9. Driving license.
