As a Head of Quality Control, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our quality management system, working towards ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 standards. This is a permanent role based in Kent.
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and advising on the performance of our quality management system, producing data and reporting on performance while measuring against set standards to maintain a robust Quality Management System that meets legal requirements. You will also liaise with staff across the company to ensure our quality management system is functioning properly.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
* Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of our quality management system.
* Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Your Background:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as quality assurance, food science, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 standards, as well as other relevant regulatory requirements.
What We Offer:
