Job Description
* Leading procurement activities within the Construction and FM Category function
* Establishing and managing effective relationships with suppliers
* Developing procurement strategies and plans
* Negotiating contracts with suppliers
* Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations
* Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies
* Managing risks associated with procurement activities
* Reporting on procurement performance and outcomes
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Senior Procurement Officer should have:
* Ideally MCIPS Qualified
* Knowledge of NEC/JCT contracts
* Able to work one day per week on site in London
* Proven experience in managing end to end procurement activities
* Strong negotiating skills
* Knowledge of procurement regulations and policies
* The ability to develop effective supplier relationships
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* The ability to work well in a team environment
