Job Summary: To assist in the day-to-day operations of the Finance department. Supporting the Finance Team through data entry (sales invoices, purchase invoices, accounting journals), responding to internal and external queries, assisting with banking cheques, cash handling, and other duties as required.
Key responsibilities include:
* Accounts Receivable tasks to include preparing and sending of invoices, and following up with customers who are behind on payments.
* Responsible for banking and recording of Cheques.
* Posting Bank transactions and other accounting journals.
* Assisting with posting Purchase Invoices.
* Council Tax and Utility Bill reconciliations, highlighting queries.
* Supporting internal and external customers with queries.
