Project Manager - Exciting Opportunity in Defence Infrastructure

The Role
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of Billable Works across a dynamic defence infrastructure contract. You will be responsible for ensuring projects meet statutory, regulatory, and Health & Safety standards while managing supply chain teams, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery. Working closely with DIO representatives, customer service teams, and site managers, you will scope, prioritise, and schedule projects, ensuring smooth progression through the system.
Your expertise in risk assessment, compliance, and problem-solving will be crucial in maintaining safety, efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting the Ministry of Defence's carbon reduction initiatives by delivering sustainable solutions that add value. With a strong commercial mindset, you will manage budgets, control costs, and ensure value for money while proactively mitigating project risks.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for a proactive leader with experience in managing operational teams to meet KPIs, overseeing cost management and budgeting, and engaging stakeholders to solve complex challenges. A strong understanding of Safe Systems of Work and performance management is essential.
Candidates should hold an HND-level qualification in Building, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or have equivalent experience. A management-level Health & Safety qualification, such as SMSTS, is required, along with strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and project management systems.
