We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to manage and oversee the payroll functions for four distinct entities within our client group. In this highly confidential role, you will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 400 employees on both monthly and bi-weekly cycles, ensuring accurate commission calculations and meticulous timesheet processing. Key Responsibilities: Multi-Entity Payroll Management: Oversee the payroll operations for four entities, ensuring seamless and compliant payroll processing. Employee Payroll Processing: Administer payroll for approximately 400 employees, managing both monthly and bi-weekly salary distributions. Confidential Payroll Administration: Handle highly sensitive payroll data with utmost confidentiality, including commission calculations and timesheet verifications. Data Accuracy & Compliance: Maintain precise payroll records while ensuring compliance with statutory and internal requirements. System & Process Optimisation: Identify and implement improvements in payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, finance, and other internal teams to resolve payroll-related queries and issues promptly. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or within a similar payroll administration role. In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation, processes, and systems. Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail to guarantee accuracy in payroll calculations. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
