Our client is an insurance company based in Guildford. They are looking for a Finance Manager to join their team, reporting to the Finance Director and managing a Finance Assistant. This is a fully office based role i.e. no hybrid/home working. Duties: Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts Production of monthly bordereaux/insurer statements and payments Follow financial policies, procedures and controls and assist in their development to ensure they conform to generally accepted accounting principles and meet regulatory requirements Manage the day to day workload of the Finance Assistant Prepare ad hoc reports as required by directors Prepare the monthly Client Money Calculation in accordance with CASS requirements Working with the Operations Director ensure accurate processing of the Payroll Complete payments and support administration of Company Pension Scheme Support the Budget and Forecasting process Support Year End Accounts Preparation and Support the Annual Audit Process Support preparation of FCA Gabriel reporting Working with Finance Director seek to ensure suppliers provide best value and service as required Reporting line by line detail to underwriters Ensure accurate processing of income into the Sector System Support the reconciliation of the Broker Accounts - Payables and Receivables - Terracotta, Freshstart and Wholesale Accounts Liaising with colleagues to resolve issues and queries Maintain daily cashflow
