Salary details: Bucks Pay Range 5 or 6 £32,192 – 38,715 FTE (Actual salary £10,842 - £13,159)

Hours: 38 weeks per year (term time only) for 15 hours per week

William Harding School is a four form entry primary school with a pre-school for pupils aged 2 upwards. We are a welcoming, inclusive community with a diverse mix of pupils which includes an Additional Resourced Provision for pupils with Speech and Language needs and Physical Disabilities. Key Responsibilities
1. Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, FLO team and other staff
2. Providing a confidential counselling service to children through individual sessions
3. Working with pupils to improve their self-esteem, confidence and eliminate anxiety
4. Promoting a caring and supportive environment where concerns can be explored
5. Playing an active part in safeguarding children by adhering to all school policies
6. Liaising with other staff to ensure that children receiving counselling can be supported in all areas of school life
7. Providing some CPD for staff and staff support

4. Have the desire to contribute to the development of Safeguarding and Vulnerable Families policies and procedures within school?

7. Have experience of working with other agencies to support children’s pastoral and academic needs?
