Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: West Bridgford
Salary: £400 - £450 per week (depending on qualifications and experience)
About the Role
Connex Education collaborates with primary schools in West Bridgford to offer relief cover opportunities, allowing you to work across multiple educational settings.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be matched with one or more primary schools in West Bridgford, supporting children in early years with Phonics (Read, Write Inc) and assisting with SATs preparation for older students. Your dedication to improving children's life chances will be vital as you help pupils enjoy school and meet learning goals.
Your duties will include classroom support in KS1 and KS2, facilitating learning through play, and providing small group interventions for pupils needing extra help. You will work closely with teachers to promote learning and create a positive environment.

Person Specification
* Experience working with children aged 4–11 in the UK
* Willing to support children 1:1 or in small groups
* Strong behaviour management skills
* Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
* Organised, reliable, proactive
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to process a new one
* Willingness to go the extra mile
