Dream Cottages part of Sykes Holiday Cottages, are seeking a Local Supplier Lead & Housekeeping Manager to join their Weymouth team.
Salary: Up to £31,550 per annum
Work Days & Hours: 37.5 hours, 5 days over 7, including Fridays and Saturdays.

About the Role
Within the Local Supplier Lead & Housekeeping Manager role, you will be managing and overseeing 50+ self-employed housekeepers and around 7 staff, servicing over 250 properties, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and timely and efficient laundry deliveries and collections. You will be working closely with our Housekeepers, cleaners, laundry staff, account managers and maintenance team, ensuring we support our Owners and properties. You will be key to building and maintaining commercially viable relationships with our third-party supplier base whilst continually sourcing new housekeepers, cleaning companies and agency staff to support our growing portfolio of properties.
Your Responsibilities
As Local Supplier Lead & Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for the following areas of accountability:
Manage and oversee 50+ self employed housekeepers and 7+ staff
Any other duties required as requested by the Property Services Manager or Brand Leader.
Organise and coordinate weekly refuse collections from selected properties.
Organise and train agency staff seasonally to ensure laundry department runs smoothly.
Ensure laundry is delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Work with laundry supplier to ensure a consistent, high-quality product is delivered.
Coordinate laundry deliveries, and assist with deliveries where needed.
Assist with cleaning or laundry issues at properties from time to time, in line with business requirements.
Support newly established suppliers.
Work closely with property owners to resolve queries with their properties.
Ensuring all suppliers are correctly onboarded on our system and trained on how to use our KEA system.
Manage and react to NPS results.
Complete property visits to ensure quality standards are met.
Monitor and uphold service standards across supplier networks.
Effective rota planning to ensure departments run efficiently at all times.
Cover out of hours emergency callout duties on a rota basis to ensure all out of hours emergencies are covered within the Brand.
Maintain supplier records, onboarding processes, and training on KEA systems.
Ensure housekeeping, laundry, and quality issues are managed and resolved promptly.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance of suppliers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party suppliers, sourcing new cleaners and contractors seasonally.

Proven customer service experience
Proven negotiation skills and ability to influence
Outstanding verbal communication skills
IT literate – MS office and databases
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to work well under pressure and work collaboratively at all levels
Excellent commercial awareness
Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle
