Senior Registered Nurse - Band 6 F/T - Adult Learning Disability Service
Fixed Term 12 months or Secondment opportunity
Base: negotiable within Argyll and Bute
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, and dynamic nurse to join a friendly, integrated multidisciplinary Learning Disability team within Argyll and Bute. The nurse will provide a distinct health check service to adults with a Learning Disability in Argyll and Bute.
You must be an NMC registered Nurse and will lead on the Scottish Government's Health Check agenda. The post will provide clinical leadership and direction for health checks across Argyll and Bute. You will carry an appropriate caseload, providing expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management for this specific group. You will also offer advice and expert opinions to parents, family members, carers, care providers, local authorities, and other healthcare professionals.
We require someone capable of working independently and autonomously with a person-centered approach, possessing excellent interpersonal skills, and experienced in collaborating positively with other agencies, care providers, and health workers.
Clinical supervision will be provided by the Team Lead, with opportunities for peer supervision with other nurses within Argyll and Bute.
