Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a confident Teaching Assistant who is passionate about the social and academic development of young students. We are working with a Primary School based in Crewe, which has excellent transport links between Sandbach and Stoke-on-Trent.
About the role:
* Opportunity to earn between £90-£120 per day (dependent on experience)
* Full-time role starting after Easter, with opportunity for a permanent contract in September
As a Teaching Assistant you will be working 1-1 and in small groups with students who require additional social and academic support. You will be working closely with the class teacher to create individualised learning plans, ensuring the curriculum is accessible for all students. Additionally, you will assist the class teacher in preparing resources and ensuring lessons run smoothly, making sure the schools behaviour policies are followed.
What we are looking for:
* Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential for this role
* Experience within a primary school is essential
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both students and staff
* A genuine passion for the academic development for young students
* Safeguarding training (can be done through Teaching Personnel)
To be considered for this role, applicants must have an enhanced child DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
