West Kent Primary Care is looking for a Performance Data Coordinator to join our expanding performance team to help us maintain and improve our performance metrics. The individual will be responsible for the collation and analysis of contractual performance information, working closely with the Digital and Performance Manager and Clinical Service Managers to provide an effective, high-quality performance monitoring service. This includes collating and producing data in respect of service KPIs, assisting in highlighting key findings and recommendations, and developing other performance measurements and monitoring systems. The role will require the data coordinator to work closely with all clinical services and provide administration cover on an ad hoc basis, enhancing their understanding of data involved with each service.
Training on specific clinical and data collection systems will be provided. The individual will be required to work from our Pembury offices for a minimum of 2 days per week.

Main duties of the job
The Performance Data Coordinator will be responsible for the collation of data and reports, monitoring and collating the organization's data and performance measures, and developing high-quality and informative performance reports for all services run by West Kent Primary Care.

Job Responsibilities
* Supports the development of comprehensive reporting systems to inform strategic planning, performance management, and decision making.
* Responsible for the analysis of performance against statutory national requirements and local contract agreements, communicating findings to the Digital and Performance Manager.
* Maintaining and improving the technical quality, accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of performance monitoring within the organization.
* Analyse data to identify areas of underperformance and evaluate underlying causes through consultation with Clinical Service Leads.
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential:
* Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience working at a similar level in a specialist area.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
Desirable:
* Relevant Masters/Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
* Advanced programme and project management skills including Prince 2 practitioner.
Experience
Essential:
* Advanced IT knowledge and keyboard skills.
* Experience of collating and interpreting highly complex performance data for presentation to Boards.
* Demonstrable experience of working with committees.
* Knowledge of service management, information, and financial analysis.
* Operational knowledge of EMIS.
Desirable:
* Demonstrable expertise in a healthcare environment.
* Experience in a similar role in the NHS or other public or private healthcare-related industry.
* Experience with and working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
* Knowledge of Ardens, Apex, and other systems.
