Our Banbridge based Client have an opportunity for a Security Officer, with added option of Warehouse duties to bring the role up to fulltime hours. As the Security Officer, you will ensure the security, safety, and maintenance of our client's premises and off-site facilities. The position will be responsible for conducting daily surveys, managing security systems, facilities, and safety protocols, with a focus on daily, weekly, and occasional tasks to ensure the well-being of personnel, property, and equipment in both indoor and outdoor areas, including during cold weather. Core Security Officer Hours: Mon to Fri: 5:30am to 8:30am (week 1) and 5:00pm to 8:00pm (week 2) & 5:30am to 1:30pm, Saturday. The role will be on a Shift Rotation, (38hrs per fortnight) (average 19hrs per week- minimum). There will be a great deal of flexibility in this role and along with the optional warehouse duties it could become a permanent full time hours position. For example; If you, there will be three hours security duties in the morning, then Warehousing duties to make hours up, or later start Warehousing hours but with 5pm to 8pm security duties cover, alternate Saturday work is also an option. Be aware that there will definitely be an early or late shift in the working week. Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, gritting, and inspecting areas. Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols. Good communication skills for reporting issues and interacting with the team. Reliable and punctual, with a flexible attitude toward work hours, especially during weekends or unusual weather conditions. Ability to work in all weather conditions, including early morning shifts during cold weather. Physical ability to walk, inspect, and clear areas manually.
