We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Officer / Learning Mentor with a passion for making a positive impact. This role involves engaging with students who face complex challenges, building strong relationships that foster trust and resilience, and working collaboratively as part of a dynamic and supportive team. You will play a pivotal role in empowering students to achieve their full potential academically and personally.
The successful candidate will have:
Experience working with young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs.
GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and stakeholders.
The ability to provide tailored mentoring and learning support that complements lesson delivery.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and emotional resilience in challenging situations.
A reliable means of transport to travel to the school site in Walsall.
