Our client is very well established organisation based in York who has achieved significant success in recent years with very strong organic growth, and are now looking to recruit a Senior Pensions Administrator to join their existing business team.

The successful candidate will carry out the day to day administration of SSAS pension schemes as well as being the main point of contact for clients/intermediaries. Daily responsibilities will include;
* Scheme establishment/takeover
* Preparing Accounts, Valuations and fund splits
* Opening scheme bank accounts
* Transfers
* Contributions
* Tax reclaims & Relief at Source, Invoices
* HMRC reporting
* Dealing with bank borrowing
* General Scheme Investments
* VAT Registration, Returns and De Registration
* Benefit Calculations
* Property Purchase/Sale/Lease
* Rent invoicing and monitoring
* Dealing with The Pensions Regulator and Information Commissioner Registration and Returns
* Background research on scheme issues
* Spotting potential issues e.g. lack of cash for pensions
Requirements
* Previous SSAS or SIPP pensions experience is essential
* Essential that candidate is computer literate and has familiarity with Word, Excel
* Excellent communication skills
* Works well on own initiative as well as part of a team
