Job Description
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
* Manage the collection of outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients
* Prepare and present reports on collection activities and progress
* Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
* Perform credit checks on potential clients and assess creditworthiness
* Implement effective recovery strategies
* Coordinate with the Accounting & Finance department to reconcile accounts
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Controller should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
* Strong knowledge of credit control procedures and debt collection regulations
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in using MS Office suite and accounting software
* Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations
* High level of professionalism and ethical standards
