North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust are currently seeking an experienced Plaster Technician to provide a high-quality service for patients within the Orthopaedic Outpatients department.

Main duties of the job
1. Provide patient centred casting for orthopaedic outpatients.
2. Carry out a full range of plaster techniques both routine and complex including specialist and synthetic casts as well as resting/functional splinting, casting bracing and focused rigidity casting.
3. Be responsible for supporting the patient during cast application and removal and ensure patients are given appropriate advice regarding care of their cast and splint.
4. Have enhanced additional support from the Senior Plaster Technician and registered Nurses.
