Role Overview
Role: Marketing Coordinator
Reporting to: Head of Marketing
Location: Leeds
In the UK, Cortland has a six-year strategy targeting a development portfolio of 10,000 Build-to-Rent (BTR) apartments and a management portfolio of 75,000 units, primarily in the London commuter belt areas and UK regional cities. Currently, we have three developments open in Watford, Manchester, and Birmingham, and more in the pipeline.
We are looking for superstar team members to help create the new gold standard for renting in the UK, one with the highest level of service where the resident always comes first.
Role Responsibilities
We have an exciting and varied role for a Digital Marketing, Content Creation, Communications (or similar) graduate with 2+ years experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing coordinator who has strong creative and digital skills to implement B2C marketing strategies across various platforms. They should be able to write content quickly and prepare engaging artwork to support campaigns. With a prime focus of supporting a variety of lead generation activities, the candidate must be organised and able to work on their own initiative working to tight deadlines.
The role will involve digital and offline marketing activity; therefore, familiarity with digital marketing methods is beneficial.
The successful candidate will be able to:
1. Work as part of the marketing team to implement comprehensive marketing strategies and initiatives.
2. Prepare appealing content and artwork to engage consumers, sharing on multiple platforms.
3. Design and create marketing graphics, including digital and print materials such as banners, posters, and promotional graphics, ensuring they align with brand standards and marketing objectives.
4. Prepare pitch documents and digital presentations.
5. Create, upload, and edit content and imagery onto websites.
6. Create digital brochures that communicate the unique selling propositions of our properties.
7. Conduct research and analyse data to identify and define audiences for marketing campaigns.
8. Design, plan, and execute targeted HTML email campaigns that engage and inform our audience.
9. Manage content creation for organic social media, aiming to increase engagement and follower growth in close collaboration with the onsite teams.
10. Edit the content of several property portals promoting large scale rental developments.
11. Monitor reviews on social media platforms organising timely responses in liaison with internal stakeholders.
12. Liaise with external agencies and specialist teams to manage marketing deliverables, including photography for marketing campaigns.
13. Monitor lead generation and social media metrics.
14. Organise open house leasing events.
15. Design and order branded goods.
16. Support the wider marketing team on a variety of marketing initiatives.
