I’m working with a lovely new independent client who are seeking a vet to join them. As the business grows, this team is ideally looking for someone with at least 12 months experience to help with the busy caseload.
They are situated in the beautiful countryside of South Wales, just a few miles between Cardiff and Bridgend. This role would be easily commuted from there or the surrounding towns such as Pontypridd, Port Talbot, or Caerphilly too.
The existing owners took over the business a decade ago when the previous owner retired, and they are very much a community vet practice with lovely loyal clients. Facilities include Digital X Ray, ultrasound, and K laser. They try to keep cases in-house wherever possible and do use a visiting specialist for complex surgeries. The team has interests in surgery, dentistry, and general practice, and certificate study is encouraged if this is desired.
The role can be adjusted to suit the incoming vet's interests and development needs. They are a very supportive team and will tailor CPD to accommodate any interest you may have.
A standard full-time rota would be over 4 days working 8.30-6.30 with Saturday mornings (8.30-12) on a 1:3 basis. They can be flexible to look at part-time options.
Salary and CPD would be generous.
