Line Manager: Director of IT
Job Summary:
Working as part of a small team, you would be a highly motivated and results-driven Senior IT Sales Executive, able to drive new business sales and manage key client relationships. You will be responsible for selling our Managed IT Services alongside our full suite of IT hardware and software solutions. Fostering a relationship of trust, you will identify, develop and win new business opportunities and provide tailored solutions that drive business growth. You will also develop cross-selling from within Inception's existing customer portfolio.
Responsibilities:
* Sales & Business Development – Generate and close new business opportunities, focusing on managed IT services and complementary solutions.
* Account Management – Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and upselling relevant services.
* Consultative Selling – Understand client needs and provide expert advice on IT strategy, hardware, cloud, and telephony solutions.
* Pipeline & CRM Management – Track opportunities, update the CRM system, and maintain a structured sales approach.
* Collaborate with Technical Teams – Work closely with engineers and consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Stay Ahead of Trends – Keep up with industry developments to offer innovative and relevant solutions to clients.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years of proven sales record in B2B IT-related sales
* Experience in presenting and negotiating at Director level
* Thrive under your own independent motivation and as part of a team to exceed sales objectives and growth
* Develop relationships with both existing and new business customers
