The Role
The successful candidate will take a lead role for a designated clinical area with a caseload that incorporates patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge.
The ideal candidate will have responsibility for the supervision, education and development of more junior staff, physiotherapy support workers and students within the speciality.
The appointed individual will also be required to provide a specialised resource to other healthcare staff, patients and carers, and will also have an active involvement in Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness and Research.

What we'll need you to bring
1. Registered Physiotherapist with valid HCPC registration.
2. Available to work immediately.
3. Educated to/working towards/operating at degree level.
4. Post graduate expertise within speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
5. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality/area of practice.
6. Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality/area of practice.
7. Leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery.
8. Further education/evidence of continuous professional development in area of speciality including study days/courses/postgraduate qualification.
9. The post holder will possess excellent team-working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative.
10. Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Effective time management skills.
12. Working knowledge of basic information technology.
13. Have working VISA in place if appropriate.
14. NHS experience desirable but not essential.
