We are pleased to go to market for our new Reliability/Asset Care Engineer. The Reliability Engineer role is great entry level position for engineers to develop their skills and gain valuable experience working within an operational unit and for Solenis. What you’ll be doing: As a Reliability/Asset Care Engineer will work alongside the Operational maintenance Coordinator daily, delivering dynamic management and guidance to ensure any issues that arise are acted on and addressed immediately ensuring unexpected losses are minimized. Key duties will include: Ensure that unexpected losses are addressed by means of root cause analysis. Progress spare components for breakdowns with maintenance / suppliers Develop and progress proposals for asset risk reduction measures as defined in the AMP for the production units. Day to day management and oversight of arising technical issues affecting asset To identify faults, carryout root cause analysis, develop short- and long-term fixes, Make improvement proposals. Ensure Asset Effectiveness is optimized and balanced with EHS requirements through coordinating effective operations and maintenance planning with colleagues from production and maintenance. Focus on effectiveness of the operational and maintenance planning process and reviewing KPIs. What you’ll bring: Qualified to Degree level in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical) Experience of problem-solving using root cause analysis techniques, preferably analyzing failures within a manufacturing environment. Focus on effectiveness of the OMP process, reviewing KPIs and improvement trends - Maintenance Process Tools – Collate asset information for the efficient application of maintenance process tools, e.g. Risk Based Maintenance studies, Bad Actor Programs, Root Cause Failure Mode Analysis.
