Location: Sheffield or Leeds - 2-3 days a week onsite

Role: IT Hardware Technician (TCU)
Experience: 5+ years' experience as a Data Center technician or in a similar role
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Installation, removal and Management of IT Equipment in the IT Labs and designated Data Halls
* Documenting processes and procedures
* Monitoring and performing on-going monitoring and maintenance on Servers and network equipment.
* Manage booking portal
* Constant communication with other colleagues in other teams/Business - and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe
* Management and support of the hardware infrastructure in the Testing Capability Uplift environment (TCU)
* Supporting our customers for hardware infrastructure requirements within the Production Like Environment (PLE)
Technical Skills:
* Extensive experience of x86 Hardware and associated components (DELL, Lenovo, HPE, Intel, AMD)
* Extensive experience in installation and removal of IT Equipment in IT Labs and Data Halls.
* Proficiency in documenting hardware management and network processes.
* In-depth knowledge of data center environments, Servers, and network equipment.
* Knowledge of Agile Ways of Working, including Jira and Confluence
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
* CompTIA ServerPlus, CompTIA Network, or CCNP certification would be advantageous.
