Please refer to job description and person specification for further details To devise an individualised dietetic management and/or treatment plan using clinical reasoning and make decisions regarding and formulate skills to utilise a range of treatment options in formulating a programme of care, carry out nutritional diagnosis and prescribe ACBS products for conditions where there are limited professional clinical guidelines To act as a dietetic resource for the speciality and associated clinical groups To provide complex outpatient clinics as required. The role requires a minimum of one outpatient clinic per week. The types of patients within this patient group include; To contribute to the service development, efficiency and safety in the dietetic department. The department is currently working on a quality improvement project within outpatients and you will have the opportunity to contribute towards this work. To be responsible for implementing the standards and policies within your speciality and/or department, and where applicable, propose changes to working practises. To support in the training of students on clinical placement including A, B and C placement students. To support the clinical supervision of junior colleagues, particularly within the specialty To contribute to the education of multidisciplinary groups, patients, families, carers and general public as appropriate
