Caspian One, a Bournemouth-based technical services company, is growing, and we’re looking for 7 or 8 experienced recruitment consultants to work either a Permanent or Contract desk to support our impressive Fintech clients both in the UK and overseas. Ideally you will have worked in FinTech, IT or Broadcast Media but it's fine if you haven't. We just need you to be able to demonstrate that you're motivated to keen to move to a growing and lucrative sector. We've found that anyone with recruitment in the white collar and non-volume space can transition easily. Our clients are well-known brands you would be familiar with, with a particular focus on investment banking, hedge funds, and asset managers.
What makes this recruitment role different?
* You don’t need to cold call clients: This role is all about delivery as we have a sales team who are there to develop new business and feed you great leads. But we do want you to have the confidence and ability to connect with passive candidates and speaking to hiring managers. You'll be used to working in a fast moving and targeted sales environment
* Career Progression is a focus for us: We’ve identified clear career paths to pursue a career in Account Management or gain skills in team leadership and client management. And we’ll support you through formal and informal learning. Your manager will work with you and coach you to attain your career goals.
* It’s all about quality: You’ll love providing a quality experience to your clients and your candidates. You’ll take a rigorous approach to qualifying the job and you’ll be diligent about following up with your candidates and clients.
So, what does a typical week look like?
* Communicating with candidates and clients: You’ll play a pivotal role in managing the recruitment process with efficiency and precision. Acting as the vital link between candidates and clients outside of the formal interview process, you’ll ensure smooth communication and that no detail is overlooked.
* Joining a knowledge-sharing session: Helping you unlock your full potential is a priority for us - we want to see you become the best version of yourself. That’s why you can look forward to engaging in learning sessions designed to support both your personal and professional growth
* Sourcing Top Talent for clients: While advertising roles will be part of your responsibilities, a significant focus will be on proactively building talent pools. This involves identifying and connecting with exceptional candidates, who exceed client expectations and deliver outstanding results.
* You might find yourself on a train to London: Travel isn’t a large component of the role but there are times when you’ll have to go to London to meet candidates and clients.
What experience have you had so far in your career?
* Previous recruitment experience: While this role is centred on FinTech or Broadcast Media, prior experience in the FinTech sector isn’t required. A background in any technical, non-volume recruitment discipline will make for an easy transition. We’re eager to hear from candidates with experience in fields like IT, engineering, manufacturing, aviation, or defence.
* Strong Communication Skills: This role requires frequent communication—conversations and emails—so you bring excellent verbal and written skills to this role.
* Relationship-Building: You excel at collaborating with hiring managers and candidates, offering support and guidance through each stage of the hiring and onboarding process.
What can you expect in return?
* Competitive Compensation: £32k to £42k per year, dependant on experience,
with OTE of up to £105,000 with the opportunity to earn more
* Other Benefits include:
* Birthday off + 2 extra days holiday at Christmas
* £400 personal development allowance
* Free Car Parking
* Mobile phone scheme
* Supportive and fun colleagues who want the best for you. Your manager will also work with you to develop your skills to create a better you.
* Ad-hoc incentives
Hybrid Working
Like many organisations, we operate a hybrid working structure. Realistically you're going to live within a commutable distance to Bournemouth. Our Delivery team are all in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays so we'll need you to commit to that. We've found that this really supports us working better as a team and creates a buzz around the office. And a lot of them come in on Mondays and Fridays too.
What happens once you apply?
Our recruitment process is crafted to allow you to shine. Relevant candidates will start with an initial conversation with our Talent Team. If successful, you’ll meet members of the team you’ll be working with, which may involve up to two interviews. It’s a two-way street—we want this to be the right fit for both you and us. Bring your curiosity, ask questions, and dive in! We’ll be upfront and give you a genuine picture of what it’s like to work here.
