What skills and experience we're looking for
Grade 5, Point 11-14, £13.47 per hour starting salary pay award pending.
Start date ASAP.
The post is term time only and permanent. You will be salaried for a minimum of 160 hours per year to be worked flexibly to meet the needs of the role.
We currently have an opportunity for someone to join and make a significant contribution to the work of our friendly and supportive Trust governance team. The postholder will assist in provision of a professional clerking service across the Trust, primarily be leading on those duties in specific schools. On occasion and by negotiation there may be other duties required such as covering other meetings or project-based work and these will incur additional hours and pay.
Tasks include proactive agenda setting and minute taking, attending pre-school, after-school and/or evening meetings at the school, attending governance training and team meetings and, after suitable training, advising Trustees and Committee Members about process and their legal responsibilities.
Applicants will be passionate about education and about giving children the best opportunities. You will possess high level ICT skills in Microsoft Office applications, a good level of written English, as well as integrity and reliability. You will be well organised and will love attention to detail. The pre- and post-meeting work can be done at home or there is access to office space if preferred.
