About You
We are looking for an individual who brings the following experience and attributes:
1. A strong background in Primary Education, with specific expertise in Primary English, including phonics and early reading.
2. Demonstrated experience supporting student teachers or early career teachers, with insight into the sector's current challenges and priorities.
3. A solid understanding of the regulatory frameworks and quality standards for Initial Teacher Education, including recent changes implemented in 2024.
4. A good first degree and a PhD (or near completion) in a relevant field, or equivalent qualifications and experience. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
