Technical Support Engineer
Based in North Cambridge, this is an exciting new position for an established start-up company working on the development of IoT Wearable Technology for measurement of vital signs used in a range of areas such as sports with many other end uses. The Technical Support Engineer will be required to develop a deep understanding of their technology which is focused on hardware, software and Firmware and will use this knowledge to diagnose and troubleshoot customer issues working across diverse teams, along with assistance in testing and debugging and providing feedback to the R&D Team.
Additional responsibilities will include Customer Support and Technical Guidance, Deployments, training and Field Support, along with Business Development & Pre/Post Sales Support.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Technical Strength: Experience with embedded systems, wireless communications, software application development, cloud integration, or relevant technologies.
• Customer-Facing Ability: Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in an understandable way.
• Hands-On Approach: Comfortable with troubleshooting, testing, and engaging with both hardware and software elements.
• Team Player: Able to work across teams, including engineering, sales, and customer support.
• Willingness to Learn: Enthusiastic about understanding our products and applying that knowledge in real-world scenarios.
It is essential for the successful candidate to have some knowledge in Electronics and Firmware as this is the products core, even if this is just from university or a hobby.
