Your Impact
* You will manage VAT returns submissions and balance sheet reconciliations for the team for assigned entities and the corresponding paperwork for payment
* You will manage the submission of Intrastat reporting and other statutory and regulatory reporting
* You will be responsible for preparing and submitting internal and external regulatory and compliance reports, and coordinating with tax advisors and regulators to ensure timely and accurate tax return filings
* You will establish and manage strong relationships with the tax team, external auditors and tax advisors
* You will support the manager with common processes, and other adhoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within the team
Your Experience and Qualifications
* Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Practical VAT and Intrastat experience in an advisory, tax authority or industry role
* Proven experience in preparing and reviewing VAT returns, combined with a strong understanding of overseas legislation and requirements
* Experience in dealing and managing stakeholders remotely
* Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
