Role Overview:
As a Mechanical and Electrical Estimator, you will be based in the companys North Kent headquarters, working on projects that span from the South East up to Birmingham. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Estimating and Costing: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical and electrical projects.
* Project Coordination: Collaborate with design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Client Interaction: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.
* Documentation: Produce comprehensive working drawings and detailed designs, ensuring all pre-construction activities are meticulously planned.
* Quality Assurance: Oversee final testing, commissioning, and handover processes to guarantee project success.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Mechanical and Electrical M&E Estimator is essential.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to produce detailed and accurate estimates.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
* Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of project estimation and documentation.
