Job purpose To support and work alongside the Finance Billing team, processing bills upon receipt of payment whilst proactively clearing client account balances. Key Responsibilities Process MOJ payments upon receipt in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Rules. Monitoring of aged disbursements. Liaise with other departments & third parties when necessary to clear balances. Monitoring & clearing of residual balances within the MOJ Billing team Ensuring all concluded files are closed in a timely manner. Maintain a professional service to clients, sources & suppliers Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required by the business Ensuring all ISO27001 requirements are met and adhered to. Observing and maintaining firm confidentiality in relation to all correspondence and communications Experience & Knowledge Good literacy and numeracy skills Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel Strong organisational, time management and administrative skills Strong communication skills both verbal and written Ability to cope under pressure Ability to work to deadlines An ability to work using own initiative within boundaries, as well as in a team, to achieve maximum results Good attention to detail and an ability to work effectively with people across a wide range of levels and responsibilities.
