Eden Brown Synergy has an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join an inpatient eating disorder service for children and young people aged 12-18 years.
The Social Worker will be joining a multidisciplinary team providing care and treatment programmes for children and young people with eating disorders.
The Social Worker will manage a complex caseload, conduct social care assessments, perform risk assessments, facilitate group activities, and contribute to ICR meetings, supporting service users to make viable plans for their future.
Reporting to the Safeguarding Lead, the Social Worker will manage internal investigations and liaise with home authorities for service users during the admission and discharge process, while enjoying access to a range of training opportunities that support career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Referrals to LADO and Local Authority in line with safeguarding and assessments.
* Educating hospital staff about relevant safeguarding matters, completing a full annual social care reassessment within the CPA format, and facilitating access to welfare rights, housing, advocacy services, and associated support services.
* Participating in 1:1 supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
* HCP registration.
* Social Work England registration.
* A Social Work degree.
* Experience within a similar environment (eating disorder inpatient services for children and young people).
