What You'll Be Doing: As an HR Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations. You’ll work closely with the HR Manager, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient employee experience from start to finish. Handling employee queries and offering first-line HR support Assisting with recruitment: job adverts, interview scheduling, candidate communication Supporting onboarding, contracts, and right-to-work checks Maintaining accurate HR records and helping to update internal systems Assisting with payroll inputs, absence management, and benefits admin Getting involved in employee engagement initiatives and training events Who We’re Looking For: 6 months experience in HR or administration Passionate about a long-term career in HR Excellent attention to detail and a people-first attitude Strong communication and time-management skills Familiarity with HR systems or Microsoft Office CIPD Level 3 (completed or studying) is a bonus What’s In It For You: Competitive salary between £23,000 - £27,000 A clear path to progress within the HR team Support for further study (CIPD qualifications) A collaborative team and welcoming work culture Central Manchester office - close to public transport links Regular socials, wellbeing initiatives & more
