We are looking to expand our clinical team which has created an exciting opportunity for the addition of a Salaried GP. We have a position available for 4-6 sessions per week.
We have a patient population of around 12,200 patients and cover a demographically diverse population.
At its core, our Salaried GP's work as a member of the Practice team and provide a critical role in delivering appointments and access to our registered population. We are an innovative and forward-thinking Practice, open to making improvements and constantly reviewing the needs of our patient population to ensure we are meeting expectations with a multi-skilled healthcare professional team to support this.
Whether you are looking for your next step into a salaried GP role, some stability from a period of locum working, or are an experienced GP simply looking for change with an opportunity to challenge yourself in a different environment, we would encourage you to get in touch!
Main duties of the job
Our Salaried GP could expect to be issued a work plan upon joining the Practice, which would consist of appointment lists including a combination of face-to-face, telephone, video consultations, home visits, and in time, online consultations. We have a current on-call rota shared across the GP Partners and Salaried GPs. We would look for the Salaried GP to have a list-holding mentality, offering continuity and ongoing case management alongside associated administrative workloads including management of results, medication management, and all other associated patient admin.
As a Practice that is very keen on education and development, we would be looking for support for the many medical student placements and allocations that we take and are keen to develop the training practice aspects of our Practice over time, of which there is an opportunity to be part of. We also welcome applications from any GPs that are currently educational/clinical supervisors.
You would work closely and be supported by our GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Clinical Pharmacist, Practice Nurses, Physician Associates, alongside our Primary Care Network colleagues of Clinical Pharmacists, Mental Health Practitioners, First Contact Physio, Social, Health & Wellbeing Practitioners, and Care Home Teams.
