Responsibilities:
1. Building and testing of high-end aviation seating switches and lighting products for Qantas, Etihad, Emirates, and British Airways Airlines.
2. Responsible for all small batch manufacture of switches and lighting products from start to finish.
3. Working within a team of 11 employees.
4. Ensure all parts are fully working throughout the assembly of the product and report any manufacturing and/or design errors.
5. Ability to understand mechanical assembly drawings sent from Design Engineers (internally).
6. Ensure high-level quality control and make suggestions to improve quality and/or design.
Skills:
1. Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a wider team (essential).
2. Ability to prioritise workload (essential).
3. Working within a fast-paced environment (essential).
4. Attention to detail (essential).
5. Good communication and numerical skills; written and verbal (essential).
6. Previous experience in another production assembly environment (desirable).
7. Adhere to ISO9001 and AS9100D standards (desirable).
8. Soldering experience (desirable).
9. Conform to 6S (desirable).
10. Experience in a quality assurance environment and ensuring the correct documentation is completed (desirable).
Education:
Educated to either GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English (desirable).

1. 39 hours per week, 0730 to 1630 Monday-Thursday and 0730 to 1230 on Friday.
