About the role As a Class Preparation Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high level customer support to educational staff within the Floristry teaching section. In this role you will support students by contributing to a positive learning experience. Your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to maintaining safety standards of relevant areas and equipment as required, ordering, receiving and preparing Floristry materials for class use and maintaining class materials and keeping the section tidy. This position will be based at our Ryde Campus. Travel will be required to the Hornsby Campus, and occasionally to Flower market and local Floristry Sundry Suppliers. This is a Permanent Part Time (Part Year) opportunity. You will be required to work 30 hours per week for 41 weeks per year. About You You have demonstrated experience working within the Floristry industry. You have a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to share your industry knowledge and support our students. You will: Hold a Certificate II in Floristry or have equivalent skills, knowledge and experience within the Floristry Industry. Have appropriate Technical Skills to be able to order Floristry materials. Be able to meet the Essential Requirements and Focus Capabilities in the Position Description.
