The Role As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll travel to customer sites across the UK, with a focus on the South of England, ensuring high-performance operation of advanced CNC machine tools. Your responsibilities will include: Reactive & Preventative Maintenance – Diagnosing and fixing breakdowns to minimise downtime. Machine Installations & Commissioning – Ensuring new equipment is set up and running optimally. Servicing & Repairs – Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting complex issues. Customer Training & Support – Advising engineers on best practices and machine operation. OEM Training & Development – Receive world-class training, including visits to overseas sites. What You Need Apprentice-trained in an engineering discipline – Mechanical, electrical, or similar. Hands-on maintenance experience – Machine tool or CNC knowledge beneficial but not essential. Openness to learn – Willingness to develop new skills and adapt to new technology. Comfortable with extensive travel & nights away – This role involves regular overnight stays.
