The Financial Governance & Compliance Team works closely with Finance and the wider business to provide guidance, oversight and assurance that enables the business to manage risk effectively and to make confident decisions.

The role...
We have a new opportunity for an experienced Finance Risk & Controls Analyst to join our growing, Manchester based team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Finance Governance, Risk & Controls Manager, you will support the Financial Governance & Compliance capability in embedding financial risk and controls across ITV globally and delivering our annual financial controls operating model. There is an increasing focus to improve the management of risks and controls using automation, whilst maintaining strong governance in line with best practice.
Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Support delivery against ITV's financial control operating model by ensuring that the risk and controls framework is updated regularly to reflect changes to the control environment.
2. Perform detailed testing of finance controls to assess their effectiveness and compliance with the risk and controls framework.
3. Identify control deficiencies and control gaps, and collaborate with stakeholders to support the design and implementation of control improvements, monitoring remediation actions to completion.
4. Manage the quarterly Financial Controls Certification survey process, providing guidance and support to responders, collating results and highlighting findings to be communicated to leadership.
5. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights to leadership on the status of risks, controls and associated findings.
6. Serve as the primary liaison for control analytics across the business, ensuring that teams consistently deliver.
7. Deliver targeted training sessions to embed the risk and control framework across the organisation.
8. Support the partnering with wider transformation and programme teams to design and implement financial controls in key strategic initiatives across the organisation.
Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
* Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA accountancy qualification or Qualified by experience
* Experience and knowledge of Finance risk and controls and / or SOx.
